A Tuesday for posting.....

Another Friday, another football game.... another day to match!!!
Only this time we've added Ada! :) (She's the one in the middle, can't you tell??? :))
The kids are looking at us like we are totally insane.... you try to get kids to smile on command on a Friday morning! HA!
"Huh, which camera are we supposed to be looking at????"
John had enough....he took off.......

ooooo- maybe this football is chocolate!!!

Nope, definitely not.....

Just another day

So today is just another day.... I thought I'd get some pictures of Nate in some different outfits- not that he's doing anything special, but I figure he's only going to wear them once or twice... heh....

One of his favorite things to do is empty the lego bin...

Ok, so the next shots I have to say I saw that the twins had experienced a real swing at the park, so we decided to take Nate out to one of the many parks in Park Forest to try his first swing.....

He was watching other kids play on the play ground

So despite the fact that he looks a little scared in these pictures, he really did love it! He really was smiling when the camera wasn't looking!

There's a smile!

A cymbal player perhaps?

Play date!

Nate had his first "official" play date with a kid his own age. They got along well, meaning they didn't make each other cry :) Here are a few pictures of Nate and Charlie (Charlie is a week older than Nate, his mom is a fellow prisoner, er...um... graduate student :))(Charlie is in green)

And you think Nate had blue eyes....look at this looker! :)

oooooo... he's touching me.....

Banging on the table is FUN! Mom, we need to get one of these....heh.....

Wha hoo! Penn State Number 1 (well, at least in our book)

So Saturdays are always interesting here.... its amazing what one boy can do in a couple of hours....Its only Saturday.....

Go Penn State!

Penn State Number 1!!! (Well, due to the Big 10 network NOT being available on comcast, we had to listen to the game on the radio... despite the stadium being, oh, 3 miles from our house....)

Walker that Great Grandma Whetzel (i.e. "GG') gave to Nate....

Notice my 2 bottom teeth!

Run Max!

Frogger

I'll try and get a better shot of when Nate sleeps with his knees under him....but he so reminds us of a frog! :)

Let's go State!

Nope, you're not seeing double. Here are Nate and John (Nate on the right)- John was born a few days before Nate, and they are two of a kind at daycare. And yes, the matching outfits were premeditated! The daycare workers have their hands full! :)

Finally!

Ok, so I'm finally getting back to posting here. Nate had his 9 month appointment. He weighed in at 23lbs 5oz and is 31 and 3/4 inches high. He grew 3 inches in the last 3 months! He's officially off the charts for his height, and in the 95th percentile for weight. People don't believe me that he's not a big eater. Evidently I got my growth early as well, however, I didn't start out as big as he did!

He loves balloons- he now points them out at Wegman's and makes funny noises until we get him one. (Wegman's gives out free balloons to kids). He has 2 teeth, and sticks his tongue out all the time. He also points his first fingers at everything, including random college girls as we're walking down the street. He's such a ham! He's crawling like a champ, and nothing is safe anymore! He'll pull himself up on everything as well, and cruises a little bit. He even lets go some times and free stands for a couple of seconds. Favorite object to chase: Max, the cat. However, Max hasn't learned yet to run....

Anyway, I'll try and post some pictures here- it didn't work the last time...

'Til next time!
